Layered Salad


  • 1 head lettuce
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 10 ounce can green peas, drained
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 large tomato, diced


Layer lettuce leaves, onion, mushrooms, peas, mayonnaise, and cheese. Refrigerate. When ready to serve, top with layers of bacon, eggs, and tomatoes.
