At 8:30PM, supercharge your memory and remember what matters most to you on Memory Rescue with Daniel Amen, M.D. At 10PM on Rick Steves' European Travel Tips and Tricks, Rick shares the essential skills for smart European travel: itinerary planning, venturing off the beaten path, packing light, and avoiding crowds (and thieves).

Tuesday at 7PM on Henry Louis Gates, Jr. - Uncovering America, Courtney B. Vance hosts this celebration of the renowned, respected and popular historian, author and filmmaker. Features appearances by distinguished guests seen in Gates’ work including Jodie Foster, Ken Burns, Jelani Cobb and LL Cool J. Then at 9PM, join host Patti LaBelle for an all-star reunion of the legends of 1970s Motown, R&B and soul on 70s Soul Superstars (My Music).

Wednesday at 7PM on Great Performances: Andrea Bocelli @ 60, celebrate the world-renowned tenor with a concert spotlighting his popular music and opera repertoire including the duet “Fall on Me” performed with his son Matteo along with songs from his new album “Si.” At 8:30PM the music continues on Nat King Cole's Greatest Songs. Celebrate the centennial of the timeless artist in this special featuring his greatest hits and cherished standards, including “Mona Lisa,” “Unforgettable,” and “When I Fall in Love,” along with rarely seen footage from his variety show. Then at 10PM, Suze Orman's Financial Solutions for You, Suze focuses on her helping individual viewers "find financial solutions for you."

Thursday at 7PM, learn how you can travel the Best of Trains Around North America. Great Scenic Railway Journeys creator, Robert Van Camp, will be in our LPB Studios to share this anniversary special featuring his top rail journeys in North America. Hosted by Grammy-winning musician and storyteller David Holt. At 10PM on the Keto Diet with Dr Josh Axe, Dr. Axe puts his own fresh spin on the widely successful and well-researched keto diet. That's followed at 11:30PM by Ken Burns: The National Parks.

Friday at 7PM, get news from across the state on Louisiana: The State We're In. That's followed at 7:30PM by Washington Week. At 8PM on Great Performances: Joni 75: A Birthday Celebrationcelebrate singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell’s singular musical artistry with an all-star line-up, including James Taylor, Graham Nash, Chaka Khan, Norah Jones, Emmylou Harris, Seal and Rufus Wainwright, performing songs from her iconic career. At 10PM on Dennis Deyoung and the Music of Styx, join the legendary singer-songwriter and his six-piece band for a concert that includes Styx’s greatest hits, including “Lady,” “Babe,” “Come Sail Away” and “Mr. Roboto.”

Saturday at 6PM on What The World Needs Now: Words By Hal David, join host Bette Midler for this musical tribute to pop music hitmaker Hal David. It features interviews with Burt Bachrach, Dionne Warwick, Valerie Simpson, B.J. Thomas and more along with music-clip performances from Aretha Franklin, Cher and others. At 7:30PM on Woody Guthrie All Star Tribute Concert -- 1970, celebrate the legacy of America’s greatest folk singer with this 1970 concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Features Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, Country Joe McDonald, Odetta, Richie Havens, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Peter Fonda and Will Geer. Then at 9PM, discover the man behind the music in this intimate profile of legendary popular singer-songwriter John Denver: Country Boy. That's followed at 10:30PM by Rolling Stones: Sticky Fingers at the Fonda Theatre, the first and only time The Rolling Stones performed Sticky Fingers in its entirety, live in concert!

Sunday, see back-to-back encores beginning at 7PM with Great Performances: Andrea Bocelli @ 60, followed at 8:30 by Josh Groban Bridges: In Concert from Madison Square Garden.

Happy Mardi Gras!

We wish everyone a happy and safe Mardi Gras! To celebrate, LPB presents The 2019 Rex Ball and the Meeting of The Courts of Rex and Comus airing tomorrow at 7:30PM on LPB3.

Host Peggy Scott Laborde along with Carnival historian Errol Laborde will provide coverage of The 2019 Rex Ball and the Meeting of the Courts of Rex and Comus from the Sheraton and Marriott Hotels in downtown New Orleans. Comus, founded in 1857, is New Orleans” oldest Carnival organization.  It stages its pageantry on the same evening as Rex, founded in 1872. Presented by LPB’s sister station WYES.

The Louisiana Legends Awards Gala and Auction is a very special annual event hosted by Friends of Louisiana Public Broadcasting. The event honors the best and brightest of Louisiana’s sons and daughters who have distinguished themselves in a variety of disciplines and have brought honor to the state.

Friends of LPB is proud to announce that the 2019 Louisiana Legends are: Todd Graves, American entrepreneur and founder and CEO of Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers; Denise Lewis Patrick, writer and editor of children’s books; Roy O. Martin III, CEO, President and CFO of RoyOMartin; Newton Thomas, founder of the Newtron Group, leader in industrial electric and instrumentation; and Rebecca Vizard, internationally renowned textile artist.
